I don't think "the lamb" is pretentious. Ambitious, arty, progressive, yes. Too esoteric for mw to see it as pretentious.

There is a fine line between "ambitious/artsy/progressive and pretentious". I would say such a fine line that it is probably better that the artist ignore it.
